Madhava Honey Company is located in the Boulder County foothills near Lyons, Colorado. Our company has been an active and committed participant in the local honey market for 31 years and counting. Over that time, we have established deep root with our states' beekeepers that enable us to offer a selection of honeys of consistent high quality and distinctive flavor.

Colorado's unique environment provides a mix of areas where the honeybees thrive. From the vast farmlands in eastern Colorado, to the high country mountains, to the high desert terrain of Western Colorado, native wildflowers, yellow sweet clover, and alfalfa are primary floral sources in the state. They yield fine, deliciously flavored honeys with distinctive differences in color and taste.

Honey production is still a family farm type operation. We work with a select number of beekeepers in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, all of whom are generational beekeepers and excellent honey producers to enable us to bring you honey we proudly refer to as "the Beekeepers Best".

Madhava offers two distinct lines of honey. Mountain Gold Honey is packed at our main facility near Lyons. Within the Mountain Gold line, we offer Clover, Alfalfa, and Wildflower honeys from Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. Ambrosia Honey is packed at our facility near Parachute, in Western Colorado and features Pure Colorado Honey from the central and western part of the state. A fine honey with a wonderful flavor signature.
